How it works
01
Sign up for managed repeats
Free delivery is part of our managed repeat service. Visit us in store to sign up and tell us you'd like home delivery.
02
We request and dispense
We handle the repeat request with your GP and dispense your medication when the prescription arrives.
03
The MU13END van calls
Our branded delivery van covers the G43, G44, and G77 postcode areas Monday to Saturday. You'll get an SMS before delivery.
04
Left in a safe place
If you're not in, we can leave with a nominated neighbour or in a safe place you've agreed with us. No signature theatre.
The MU13END van
The MU13END van is hard to miss on Clarkston Road. The registration plate says it all — and so does the orange wrap.
Our driver covers the G43, G44, and G77 round each working day. They know the area, they know many of the patients, and they know when to call ahead if something looks unusual on the round.
If you're expecting a delivery and see the van, give the driver a wave. If something goes wrong with a delivery, call us directly on 0141 637 2014 — not the driver's personal number.
Important to know
Controlled drugs cannot be delivered
Schedule 2 and Schedule 3 controlled drugs must be collected from the pharmacy counter and may require ID. If any of your medicines are controlled drugs, we'll tell you at sign-up and arrange counter collection for those items only.
We may ask for ID
For certain medicines, the driver may ask for confirmation of identity before handing over the bag. This is for your protection and in line with dispensing regulations.
Nominated delivery
You can tell us to deliver to a nominated neighbour or trusted person. We'll record this preference and the driver will follow it on every round unless you tell us otherwise.
Not a courier service
Free delivery is part of our managed repeat service — it isn't an on-demand courier. If you need a prescription urgently and can't wait for the next delivery day, call us or use Pharmaself24.
Common questions
- What time will my delivery arrive?
- We don't offer timed delivery slots — the van runs a round across our delivery area each weekday and Saturday. Most deliveries arrive between 10am and 4pm, but this varies. If you need an early delivery, call us the day before and we'll try to accommodate.
- Can I specify a delivery time?
- We can't guarantee a specific time slot, but if you let us know of any access issues (e.g. you're at work until 2pm), we'll note it and the driver will aim to call later in the round.
- What if I'm not home?
- Tell us in advance where you'd like us to leave it — a specific neighbour, a safe porch, or a nominated person. If we can't leave it safely, we'll bring it back and call you to rearrange.
- Can I pay for faster delivery?
- No. Delivery is free, but it's part of our managed repeat cycle — it isn't a courier-on-demand service. If you need a prescription urgently, call us on 0141 637 2014.
- What if I move out of the delivery area?
- Let us know and we'll switch you to Pharmaself24 or counter collection, or help you transfer to a pharmacy closer to your new address.
- Do you deliver controlled drugs?
- No. Controlled drugs (Schedule 2 and 3) cannot be delivered — they must be collected from the pharmacy counter with appropriate ID. We'll let you know if any of your medicines fall into this category.
⚠ Important
Free delivery is not for urgent supply. If you need medication today, call us on 0141 637 2014. For urgent clinical advice, contact NHS 24 on 111. In an emergency, call 999.
